I know I had always intended to keep you up to speed on my publishing journey, however, as I have found out and hope you will one day too, that this is not possible. It’s not possible because while decisions are being made, contracts signed and a whole bunch of other things I may get to share with you down the track, it all needs to remain confidential, if only in case it all falls through and you end up looking foolish. That’s happened to me before, not this time, however and…

it gives me no small measure of delight to announce that my first Picture Book, The Sorrowful Star will be published by Little Pink Dog Books (http://www.littlepinkdogbooks.com/) in October next year!

It will be a full colour hardcover book otherwise known as bliss for me, Artelle Lenthall.

I’m thrilled to have multi-talented, Melbourne-based illustrator, Margaret Dewar to bring my words to life.
